These terms govern your subscription to and use of Stabble, a client selection service for photography studios working with Capture One, published by Sokkel, EURL with a share capital of €100.00, RCS Paris 108 362 872, 47 rue Vivienne, 75002 Paris, France (« Sokkel », « we »). The service lets photography studios, digitechs and photographers publish JPEG previews from their Capture One session through a macOS companion app, then share a web gallery with their clients and collaborators (stylist, set designer, make-up artist, etc.) — with no account to create, access is by e-mail and code — to rate, color-tag, comment and annotate. The studio then retrieves the selection in its Capture One session to support post-production: ratings, color tags and drawn annotations are placed back on the images; comments stay in the gallery, where numbered pins tie them to the photo concerned. Stabble never receives or stores your RAW files: only the JPEG previews you export and your selection data. By creating an account or subscribing, you accept these terms.
Stabble is designed for and offered to professionals: photography studios, digitechs and independent professional photographers. By subscribing, you declare that you act in the course of your professional activity. If you nevertheless subscribe as a consumer within the meaning of applicable law, the mandatory provisions of consumer law remain fully applicable to you, and nothing in these terms limits them.
You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep your credentials confidential. Each seat is personal to a named member of your team; sharing individual credentials or personal keys is not permitted. You are responsible for activity carried out under your account and your team's seats.
New accounts start with a 14-day free trial. No payment card is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial, a paid subscription is required to continue using the service. If you do not subscribe, your account remains but publishing is disabled; client galleries stay online for a short grace period, then close. Previews are purged when they reach the retention period of the plan under which they were published. You may ask us to delete your account at any time.
Each plan includes a number of seats, a number of active client galleries, and a preview retention period, as described on the pricing page. A seat is a named member of your studio team. Client-side participants are unlimited and never consume a seat. When you reach a plan limit, some actions — such as creating a new gallery or adding a team member — may be unavailable until you archive, remove capacity no longer needed, or move to a larger plan. Additional seats and options are available as described on the pricing page.
Founder pricing is a limited program whose conditions are published on the pricing page and form part of these terms. In summary: places are limited per plan; a place is taken by a paid subscription and is not returned to circulation if that subscription ends; the founder rate is guaranteed for as long as your subscription continues without interruption, and if it ends, a new subscription is taken at the public rate then in force; changing plans keeps your founder rate, even if the target plan's founder places are full; options and additional seats are always billed at the public rate, including on a founder subscription.
Current prices are displayed on the pricing page; the price applicable to you is the one shown at checkout. Annual plans are billed once per year for the amount shown. Your billing currency is determined by your country and is the currency in which you are charged. Orders are processed by our reseller and merchant of record, Paddle: Paddle sells the subscription to you, collects payment, calculates and remits applicable taxes (such as VAT or sales tax), and issues your invoice. Prices are shown exclusive of tax where tax is added at checkout. Invoices — including invoices showing your company details or VAT number — are available from Paddle's customer portal, linked in your receipt emails. Sokkel does not itself collect tax, does not issue invoices, and does not store your billing address or tax number: we hold only a Paddle customer reference and the billed amounts.
Adding an option or a seat takes effect immediately and is billed pro rata for the current period. Moving to a larger plan, or from monthly to annual billing, takes effect immediately with a pro rata adjustment. Removing an option or a seat, moving to a smaller plan, or moving from annual to monthly billing takes effect at the next renewal only. These are billing mechanics, not limits on your refund rights: where Paddle's Refund Policy or your statutory rights entitle you to a refund, they prevail.
Subscriptions renew automatically for successive periods equal to the initial period until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid, and your access continues until then. If a payment fails, Paddle retries it over a limited period; if payment ultimately cannot be collected, the subscription is cancelled.
Subscriptions taken out in the course of a professional activity carry no statutory right of withdrawal. If you qualify as a consumer under applicable law, you retain any statutory right of withdrawal the law grants you; to exercise it, write to [email protected] and we will coordinate the corresponding refund with Paddle, which processed your payment. Withdrawal rights and refunds are exercised under Paddle's Refund Policy, available at paddle.com/legal/refund-policy.
You retain all rights in your photographs and content. You grant Sokkel a limited, non-exclusive license to host, reproduce and display your previews and selection data solely to operate the service for you and the participants you designate, including backups. You warrant that you hold the rights necessary to the content you publish, including any authorizations required from photographed persons or your own clients. The Stabble software and service remain the property of Sokkel. If you send us suggestions, we may use them to improve the service without obligation; this transfers no rights over your content.
Client galleries are reachable through a link and an access code, without account creation for your clients. Each gallery unlock is logged (e-mail address entered, IP address, date). You are responsible for whom you share links and codes with, and for informing your clients about the use of the gallery. Previews are retained for the period included in your plan, then purged automatically; a gallery archived before that date keeps its previews until that date. Selections, ratings and comments are retained with the gallery.
You agree not to use the service for unlawful content or purposes, not to infringe third-party rights, not to attempt to disrupt or circumvent the service or its security, and not to resell access to the service outside its intended use by your studio and your clients.
For your account, billing reference and site data, Sokkel acts as data controller. For the data of your gallery participants (e-mail addresses, unlock logs, selections and comments), Sokkel processes data on your behalf and on your instructions as processor, and you act as controller towards your clients. We process such data only to provide the service, keep it confidential, use the sub-processors listed in the Privacy Policy, assist you with data subject requests, and delete the data as described in the Privacy Policy. Details, including retention and your rights, are set out in the Privacy Policy.
We provide the service with reasonable skill and care and aim for high availability, without guaranteeing uninterrupted operation. Maintenance may temporarily affect the service; we plan it to limit impact. Support is provided as described for your plan, through [email protected] or the online documentation.
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as described, without other warranties, and each party's total liability under these terms is capped at the amounts paid for the service during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to liability; neither party is liable for indirect damages such as loss of profit or loss of business. This article does not exclude or limit liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence, and, for consumers, statutory guarantees and mandatory protections.
In the event of a serious breach of these terms — in particular of articles 3, 11 and 13 — we may suspend or terminate access after notice inviting you to remedy the breach, or without notice where the breach makes immediate action necessary, such as unlawful content or a threat to the security of the service.
We improve the service continuously and may modify its features, provided we do not substantially degrade the core of what you subscribed to. We may amend these terms; for material changes we will notify you by e-mail at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not accept a material change, you may cancel; the change does not apply before your next renewal. Price changes apply from your next renewal at the earliest, with prior notice; they never affect the founder-rate guarantee described in article 6.
These terms are governed by French law. For subscribers acting as professionals, any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably falls within the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Paris. If you qualify as a consumer, the statutory rules on jurisdiction and dispute resolution apply.
If a provision of these terms is held invalid, the remainder stays in force. These terms, together with the pricing page, the founder-pricing conditions, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy, form the entire agreement; a specific written agreement signed with Sokkel prevails over them. You may not assign your subscription without our consent; we may assign it as part of a transfer of the service, with your rights preserved. These terms are drafted in English, which prevails; translations are provided for convenience. Stabble is an independent product; the independence notice regarding Capture One appears in the site footer.
